Marple SlalomFest 2025 (2nd to 4th May)
Join us for a weekend of fun on the river, with camping and refreshments on-site. As well as our usual Div 3/4/Open slalom race, we have Kayak Cross and a full schedule of fun events for all the family.
No roof rack? No problem! Boats available to borrow if needed, including K1, C1 and C2.

Directions
Turn off Stockport Road onto Dale Road (the turning is opposite the Railway Pub). Follow Dale Road to the end where it turns into a track - this is pot-holed and narrow so please drive slowly and be aware of the steep drop on the right-hand side.
Continue down the track for approximately 500m until you see the entrance to the Canoe Club on the right-hand side. The gate is slightly set back but it is the first turning you will come to on the right. If you get to Middle Dale house or Magpie Cottages & Spa, you have gone too far!
Go through the gate and you will be directed where to park and camp.
